I feel my life's worthwhile

For it seems I've always longed.

To feel that I've done something

For those who have been wronged.

Those not wronged by anybody

Or by anything unknown.

But just by bad circumstance,

The ones that shouldn't be left alone.

In time things will get better

Even for those we'd call lost cause.

It's the helping them that then helps us

Make sense out of God's laws.
